Experience
The Nine

come back to yourself

An elevated wellness oasis grounded in evidence-based instruction, minutes from the George Washington Bridge.

The practice

Our signature classes take place in an infrared-heated room. Infrared warms the body itself rather than the air around it, so muscles soften, joints move more freely and the work goes deeper without the heavy, suffocating feeling of a traditional hot room. Prefer it cool? Our Non-heated Mat classes deliver the same method at room temperature.

Why we heat the room

Heat isn’t the point. It’s what the heat lets you do.

Body

Warm muscles lengthen more easily, which means fuller range of motion, better access to your deep core and less strain on stiff joints. Over time you build long, functional strength, steadier posture and the kind of control that carries into everything else you do, from lifting to running to simply standing taller.

Mind

Pilates asks for total attention: every breath timed, every rep placed. In a warm room that focus comes naturally. Fifty minutes later, the noise of the day has gone quiet and you leave clearer, calmer and more present than when you walked in.

Soul

There is something about a room full of people working through the same hard minute together. Our classes are small, welcoming and free of ego. Come for the workout; stay for the community you will find on the mats beside you.

Classes

Choose your temperature

Every class follows The Nine method: classical foundations, contemporary refinements and props where they make the work smarter. All levels are welcome, and our instructors offer modifications throughout.

Hot Pilates

Our signature class. A full-body mat sequence in a gently infrared-heated room, moving from breath and core activation through standing, seated and supine work. Expect to sweat, to shake a little and to leave feeling longer and lighter.

Also on the schedule: Hot Sculpt and Hot Fusion. Bring water and a mat towel (or rent one for $3), and arrive hydrated.

Non-heated Mat

The same precise sequencing without the heat. A slower pace and more time on alignment make it the perfect place to learn the foundations, to recover between heavier training days or to refine your form.

Ideal for first-timers and anyone who prefers to keep cool.
